For the year 2022 we have prepared to exhibit at the R+T in Stuttgart, the world´s leading trade fair for roller shutters, doors/gates and sun shading systems. In addition to presenting our products the R+T should be a meeting point to facilitate personal relations and the exchange of experiences with our European customers. For several reasons, however, we have carefully considered whether our participation at the R+T 2022 is justified.
A central part of our consideration is the currently unstable market situation in the construction sector which is highly demanding for our employees and you as well. Our forecast is that the tense market situation will continue in the first quarter of 2022, so that all available resources will be required for conducting the operational business and providing you with the best possible support.
Corona has changed everything and forced the organisers to postpone the R+T from 2021 to 2022. The pandemic has yet to be over and no one can reliably say which hygienic concept will be required for the R+T to take place in 2022. It is completely unclear how the infection process will develop in the colder season and to what extent personal exchanges will be possible again.
In particular our international partners have indicated that they will avoid attending major events and the associated travel activities, so that we expect lower numbers of visitors. Due to the above displayed reasons, we decided, in close cooperation with well-known manufacturers, not to exhibit at the R+T 2022.
It is now a matter of mastering the upcoming season with strength and we promise to be close by your side.
