Data privacy

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We handle your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations as well as this data privacy statement.

When you use this website, various items of personal data are collected. Personal data is data that allows you to be personally identified. This data privacy statement explains which data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what reason this is done.

Please be advised that data transmission on the internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. A complete protection of the data from third party access is not possible.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent that has been granted at any time. An informal communication by e-mail is sufficient for this. The lawfulness of the data processing that has taken place before the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

If you are obligated, after the conclusion of a contract with costs, to submit your payment information (e.g. your account number in the case of a direct debit authorisation) to us, this data is required for processing the payment.

The payment transactions using the standard means of payment (Visa/MasterCard, direct debit) take place exclusively via an encrypted SSL or TLS connection. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address line of the browser changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser line.

In an encrypted communication, the payment information that you submit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Most of the cookies used by us are “session cookies”. They are deleted automatically after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser to inform you when cookies are set and thus only allow cookies on a case-by-case basis, reject cookies for specific cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. When cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically perfect and optimised provision of its services. If other cookies (e.g. cookies for the analysis of your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are handled separately in this data privacy statement.

Server log files

The provider of the web pages collects information and automatically saves it in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits to us automatically. The information saved in these server log files includes:

  • The browser type and browser version
  • The operating system used
  • The referrer URL
  • The host name of the accessing computer
  • The time of the server request

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The basis for the data processing is Art. 6 (1) f GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or precontractual measures.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your enquiries from the enquiry form, including the contact details provided there, will be saved for the purpose of processing the enquiry and for the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass this data on without your consent.

Thus, the data entered in the contact form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal communication by e-mail is sufficient for this. The lawfulness of the data processing that has taken place before the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

We will retain the data entered by you in the contact form until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to the storage of the data or the purpose for the data storage lapses (e.g. after the processing of your enquiry is completed). Mandatory statutory provisions – especially storage periods – shall remain unaffected.

5. Analysis tools and advertising

Matomo (formerly Piwik)

This website uses the open source web analytics service Matomo. Matomo uses technologies that enable cross-page user recognition to analyze user behavior (e.g., cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Matomo about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymized before it is stored.

With the help of Matomo, we are able to collect and analyze data about the use of our website by website visitors. This allows us to find out, among other things, when which page views were made and from which region they come. We also collect various log files (e.g., IP address, referrer, browsers used, and operating systems) and can measure whether our website visitors perform certain actions (e.g., clicks, purchases, and the like).

The use of this analysis tool is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymized analysis of user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to store cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

reCAPTCHA aims to verify whether the data entered on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is entered by a human or by an automated program. To this end, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the visitor to the website on the basis of various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the visitor accesses the website. reCAPTCHA analyses a variety of information (e.g. the IP address, the length of time the visitor spends on the website or the user’s mouse movements). The data recorded in the analysis is forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Visitors to the website are not advised that an analysis is taking place.

The data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its website from improper automated spying and from SPAM.

You can find further information about Google reCAPTCA as well as Google’s data privacy statement under the following links: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/android.html.

Visable

For analysis and marketing purposes, docking Solution und Service GmbH uses products and services that are provided in collaboration with Visable GmbH (www.visable.com). To this end, data is collected, processed and stored by means of tracking pixel technology and cookies to create user profiles that are at least pseudonymised, and fully anonymised where possible and appropriate. The collected data, which may initially still include personal data, is transmitted to Visable or collected directly by Visable and used to create the aforementioned user profiles there. There is no personal identification of visitors to this website, and no other personal data is merged with the user profiles. If IP addresses are identified as personal, they are deleted immediately. You can object to the described processing at any time with effect for the future: Opt out of the tracking (note: the link sets a 1st party cookie for an opt-out)

You can find further information on the handling of user data in YouTube’s data privacy statement at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

This website uses so-called web fonts that are provided by Google for the uniform presentation of fonts. When a page is accessed, your browser loads the required web fonts in its browser cache, in order to show texts and fonts correctly.

To this end, the browser used by you must establish a connection with the Google servers. This informs Google that our website has been accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts is used in the interests of a uniform and attractive presentation of our website. This is a legitimate interest in terms of Art. 6 (1) f GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font is used by your computer.

When you visit a website that has integrated OpenStreetMap, your IP address and other information about your behaviour on this website will be forwarded to the OSMF. OpenStreetMap may store cookies in your browser for this. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analysed. You can prevent the storage of cookies by making a corresponding setting in your browser software; however, we would like to point out that you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of this website in this case.

Your location can also be recorded if you have allowed this in your device settings – e.g. on your mobile phone. The provider of this website has no influence on this data transfer. You can find details in the OpenStreetMap data privacy statement under the following link: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
