In midsummer temperatures, the runners took part in various disciplines and over distances of between 3 and 12 kilometres past the enclosures of bison, bears, wolves and other animals, some of which ran free.
The runners and spectators had a lot of fun in the unrivalled setting of the Wisentgehege Springe. Helge Flügge from the DSS team provided his usual entertaining moderation at the start-finish area. mydocking covered the costs for the medals and drinks for the fresh runners as well as for the non-alcoholic wheat beers that were provided for the participants in the adult competitions.
We will definitely be taking part in this fun run next year!
