Almost 700 runners took part in various disciplines and over distances of between 3 and 12 kilometres. As usual, they ran past wolves, moose, bison and bears in an unrivalled setting. The circuit led through the living room of the animals, some of which ran free, the weather played along and the athletes completed their routes, some fast and some relaxed.
An all-round success
The Wisentgehege support organisation took care of the guests' physical well-being and the VFV Concordia Alversrode e. V. provided 35 helpers to ensure the smooth running of the event and, in the person of Helge Flügge, an entertaining moderator at the start/finish area.
mydocking covered the costs for the medals and drinks for the children's run and the non-alcoholic wheat beers that were provided for all runners in the adult competitions. We are already looking forward to next year's fun run!
